We illustrated the cover for the November - December 2024 issue with the topic on searching for truth in a world of disinformation. The more we know the less likely we are to tolerate tyranny. Yet it’s only now that the world seems to have woken up to the damage being done to democracy by the way our information ecosystems are increasingly shaped by a desire to make money instead of the desire to connect. This issue explores what can be done to protect the information ecosystem.
