Commissioned for the February 2024 edition of British GQ. We worked on 4 illustrations - an opener spread, 1 full-page and 2 spots. The article writes about an unlikely crew of British gym heads who started pumping out counterfeit Xanax online, they thought they had a perfect money-making scheme. Then the private investigations team of the drug giant Pfizer got involved, and it all started to crumble.

Our brief was to illustrate Roman physique statues, reminiscent of cliche gym bods. The figures would then be cracking and deteriorating like a pill being crushed and crumbling to dust.
